The Story

Ingredients
tomatoes (chopped)
3 nos
thin sev (Nylon sev or gathiya sev)
1 cup
oil or ghee
1 tbsp
mustard seeds
1 tsp
cumin seeds
1.2 tsp
white sesame seeds
1.2 tsp
Asafoetida
1.2 tsp
turmeric powder
1.2 tsp
red chilli powder
1 tsp
coriander powder
1 tsp
cumin powder
1.2 tsp
jaggery
1 tbsp
salt
1.2 tsp
water
1.2 cup
chooped coriander leaves

How to Cook

Prepare the Tomato Base

1. Heat oil or ghee in a pan. 2. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, and hing. Let them splutter. 3. Add chopped tomatoes and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they become soft. 4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and jaggery. 5. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes form a thick gravy. 6. Add ½ cup water and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Add Sev & Serve Immediately

1. Just before serving, add sev to the gravy and mix gently. 2. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. 3. Serve hot with bajra rotla,
